Soluble in ethanol, ethyl ether and other organic solvents. The salt and salt is soluble in water. Esters are insoluble in water.
Use: agriculture as a plant growth stimulant, prevent the tomato fruit early flower and fruit drop, and the formation of the seedless fruit, promoting early maturing crops, accelerating rooting. It can also be used as a herbicide.
